TikTok deleted 75 million videos
Recently, this information has been published in TikTok's Community Guidelines Enforcement Report. The report is prepared based on the period of the fourth quarter of 2023 (October-December 2023). The report highlights TikTok's stance on preventing the spread of misinformation and maintaining online safety.
In Bangladesh, TikTok removed 7,599,349 videos for violating community guidelines in the fourth quarter of 2023. In addition to upholding community guidelines, TikTok actively monitors spam accounts and related content. Actions are also taken to stop automatically generated spam accounts.
In the fourth quarter of 2023, 95.3 per cent of the videos removed in Bangladesh were removed within a single day. The video removal rate for this quarter was 99.5 per cent. In addition, TikTok has removed accounts of under 13 platform users suspected of being users for the safety of young people. A total of 1 crore 98 lakh 48 thousand 855 such accounts have been removed worldwide.
