Iran threatens to attack US bases if it joins Israel
The Israeli army chief met with the US commander to decide what to do about Iran's possible attack. On April 1, Israel attacked the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria and killed two generals of the country's Revolutionary Guard and seven high-ranking military officers. Iran is preparing to respond to this killing.
Some US officials told CBS media that Iran may attack Israeli military positions on Friday (April 12). And 100 drones and dozens of missiles can be used in this attack.
In the meantime, the US media Axios reported that last week, Iran told the United States through the Arab countries that if the United States joins the conflict between Israel and Iran, the US base in the Middle East will also be attacked.
Three US officials told Axios. They said that Iran thinks that the attack on the consulate in Damascus is related to the US. As a result, Iran has warned them not to be associated with these attacks.
"Iran's warning message was that we will attack those who attack us," said one official. So don't say anything about us. We won't say either."
The officials also said they were advised to notify the US in advance if Iran attacked Israel and if Israel decided to retaliate against Iran.
The US has given a message to Israel, not to launch any attack on Iran without their word. Because the United States fears that US troops may fall into this conflict.
