Danielle Lloyd has alerted fans with photos from her hospital bed after mysterious surgery

Mum-of-five Danielle Lloyd sparked concern from fans - who flooded her social media with messages of support - when she revealed she was in hospital for surgery.

Danielle Lloyd has worried her fans by revealing that she has been admitted to the hospital and underwent a mysterious surgery. The 40-year-old mother caused alarm on Wednesday morning when she took to social media to share a photo of herself wearing a hospital gown - and later explained that she was waiting to be operated on. The initial shot shows the lower half of Danielle's body as she awaits her surgery. She wore a pair of purple, fluffy slippers and black tights as well as her hospital gown.

He showed off the shot — laminate floors and wooden legs of a chair visible — and added an animated emoji of a hospital surgeon wearing some latex gloves. She then shared a second image five hours later and explained that she had undergone surgery - but didn't elaborate on why she needed the procedure.

The photo - shared via Instagram Stories - shows Danielle in a hospital bed and wrapped under a light mint-coloured blanket. He had a hospital ID tag around his wrist and an IV drip attached to his arm. He was also clutching a piece of medical equipment - which may have been designed to help him administer pain relief.

While the images are disturbing, Daniel assured his fans and followers that he is fine and is now on the mend. In an upbeat-sounding message, she wrote alongside the photo: "Alive and well after surgery thanks for all your lovely messages." He added a red heart emoji to the note.

While it's unclear why Danielle needed the surgery, she has previously expressed regret for going under the knife for cosmetic reasons. He admitted to GB News in 2022: “Well, obviously, it's helped my career enormously, because I've been on the front page of Zoos and Nuts and all that. So that helped me. But, you know, I wish I'd waited, because I have so many scars."

She added at the time: "And I think when you have kids, everything seems to go south. So I wish I'd done it now and not later." Danielle shares sons Archie, 13, George, 12, and Harry, 10, with her footballer ex-husband Jamie O'Hara, and is also mum to Ronnie, six, and two-year-old Autumn Rose, who she shares with husband Michael O'Neill.

In July last year, Danielle was rushed to hospital after heavy bleeding - doctors later discovered cysts on both ovaries and thickening of the lining of her womb. She was eventually told she had adenomyosis and underwent surgery known as endometrial ablation - where the lining of the womb is removed. She also opted for surgery which left her unable to bear any more children.

Discussing her choice with Close magazine, she said: “It's hard to accept the idea of not having another child. I would have loved to have a little sister for Autumn, but I'm thankful for five healthy children, and maybe that's God's way of saying, "You've had enough".'
