British King Charles is suffering from cancer

Britain's King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer. He shall abstain from all duties in public. Buckingham Palace gave this information in a statement on Monday.

Charles became the King of Britain in September 2022 after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II. A statement from Buckingham Palace said the 75-year-old King Charles has full confidence in his medical recovery. He also hopes to return to normal duties as soon as possible.

Charles spent three nights in hospital last month. There he was treated for prostate. Buckingham Palace said there were other concerns about his condition while in hospital. However, they did not say anything about what kind of cancer he had. However, a source in the British royal family said that King Charles did not have prostate cancer.
